Signage Lead

Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with event organizers to understand the event layout, schedule, audience demographics, and branding guidelines.
Develop a signage strategy that aligns with the event's goals, objectives, and theme.
Determine the types of signage needed, including directional signs, informational signs, promotional signs, and sponsor recognition signage.
Design and Content Creation:
Create visually appealing signage designs that are clear, informative, and consistent with the event's visual identity.
Incorporate relevant information such as event schedules, maps, locations, amenities, safety instructions, and accessibility features.
Ensure that signage content is accessible and inclusive, using clear language, universal symbols, and high contrast for readability.
Production and Procurement:
Coordinate the production or procurement of signage materials, including banners, posters, digital displays, directional arrows, floor decals, and wayfinding signs.
Work with printing vendors, sign makers, and graphic designers to produce high-quality signage within budget and timeline constraints.
Review proofs and prototypes to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to branding standards.
Installation and Placement:
Plan the placement and installation of signage throughout the event venue, considering visibility, traffic flow, accessibility, and audience engagement.
Coordinate with venue staff, facilities management, and logistics teams to secure permits, access points, and installation locations.
Ensure that signage is securely installed, maintained, and removed according to event schedules and guidelines.
Signage Management:
Manage inventory, storage, and transportation of signage materials and equipment.
Maintain a schedule for installing, updating, and removing signage as needed during the event.
Monitor signage performance, addressing any issues or feedback from participants, staff, or sponsors.
Team Coordination:
Lead a team of signage assistants or volunteers, assigning tasks, providing training, and overseeing workflow.
Delegate responsibilities for specific signage areas, such as registration signage, directional signage, exhibitor signage, and sponsor displays.
Conduct regular meetings and communication to ensure alignment and collaboration within the signage team and with other event teams.
Post-Event Evaluation:
Evaluate the effectiveness of signage solutions based on attendee feedback, navigation patterns, and signage analytics.
Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for future events.
Document best practices, lessons learned, and signage templates for reference in future events.
The Signage Lead plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall attendee experience, facilitating navigation, communication, and brand visibility at events.
Food Vendor Lead

Immediate Actions:
Establish Communication:
Meet with the Director of Hospitality to understand expectations and guidelines.
Get a list of potential and past food truck vendors if available.
Vendor Outreach:
Contact food trucks to confirm their availability for the event.
Discuss and negotiate terms, including fees, space requirements, and services offered.
Compliance Check:
Ensure all food trucks have the necessary permits and insurance.
Familiarize yourself with local health and safety regulations.
Logistics Planning:
Determine the layout for food trucks at the event venue.
Plan for necessary utilities and waste management.
Coordination and Communication:
Set up a communication channel (e.g., email group, messaging app) for all food truck vendors.
Provide detailed information about the event schedule, setup times, and other logistics.
Team Coordination:
Recruit and brief volunteers to assist with food truck coordination.
Ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities.
Ongoing Responsibilities:
Vendor Support:
Be the point of contact for food truck vendors before and during the event.
Address any issues or concerns promptly.
Quality Control:
Monitor food trucks to ensure they meet health and safety standards during the event.
Feedback Collection:
Gather feedback from vendors and participants post-event to improve future planning.
Skills and Tools:
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple vendors and logistics.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with vendors, the Director of Hospitality, and volunteers.
Basic understanding of event planning and vendor management software/tools if available.
Fundraising Lead

Position Overview
As the Fundraising Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all fundraising activities for Dreamers Walk events. This includes overseeing silent and live auctions, 50/50 raffles, and handling donations, as well as managing food and shoe drives.
Key Responsibilities
- **Fundraising Events:** Organize and manage silent and live auctions, 50/50 raffles, and other fundraising activities.
- **Donation Management:** Oversee the collection and allocation of donations, ensuring proper tracking and acknowledgment.
- **Food and Shoe Drives:** Coordinate and manage food and shoe drives, including collection, sorting, and distribution.
- **Team Coordination:** Lead and support the fundraising team, ensuring all activities are well-organized and executed.
- **Community Engagement:** Engage with the community to encourage participation and support for fundraising efforts.
- **Compliance:** Ensure all fundraising activities comply with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in fundraising, event management, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for community service and non-profit work
